Rhode Island Red - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can tomatoes (may add another can of tomatoes)
    6 onions, peeled and chopped
    1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
    salt
    pepper
    hard bread
Preparation
    Boil onions in water to cover; drain.
    Chop tomatoes fine. Cut cheese in small dice.
    When onions are done, add tomatoes and cheese to saucepan.
    Stir constantly to blend.
    Serve over pieces of broken hard bread.
