Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 plus c. coarsely chopped hard pretzels
3/4 c. margarine
3 tsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 large pkg. strawberry jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (including juice)
Preparation

Mix pretzels, margarine and 3 teaspoons sugar together.
Press into a 9 x 13-inch
pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and Cool Whip together and spread on cooled pretzel mixture.
Mix jello, boiling water and strawberries. Place in refrigerator until it begins to gel.
Pour over pan mixture.
Refrigerate until set.
