Pecan Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 cup + 2 Tbsp. butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups flour
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. cream
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. pecan halves
Pinch of salt

Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients together.
Press into 9 x 13 buttered pan.
Chill 20 minutes. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Mix next 5 ingredients together for filling.
Heat until melted and boil for 1 minute.
Add remaining ingredients to filling mixture. Pour over first layer. Bake at 325\u00b0 until bubbly, 15 to 20 minutes.
