Antonie Novak'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. caraway seed
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sweet cream
    1 c. whole milk
    1 egg
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel
    and
    cut potatoes into bite-size pieces.
    Put the potatoes,
    salt
    and
    caraway seed in water and cook.
    Mix the flour
    and cream together.
    When potatoes are almost done, add the milk
    and pepper.
    Bring it to a boil; add cream mixture. Stir and
    continue cooking for five more minutes on low heat. While this
    is cooking, beat the egg and with a fork, dribble little drips into potato mixture and stir.
    If too thick, add a little milk.
    Onion may be added when cooking potatoes.
