Italian Steak Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless top round, cut 1 inch thick
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. artichoke hearts, thawed
    10 cherry tomatoes, halved
    1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
    4 green onions, sliced
    2/3 c. Italian dressing
    1/2 tsp. dried marjoram, crushed
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    4 c. salad greens
    1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
Preparation
    Cut any fat on steak at 1-inch intervals being careful not to cut into meat.
    Place on unheated rack of a broiler pan.
    Broil 3 inches from heat for 6 minutes.
    Turn and broil to desired doneness.
    Cool slightly; cut into thin slices.
    Place in a nonmetallic shallow bowl.
