Mother'S Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 8 leftover homemade biscuits
    1/4 c. sugar (or to taste)
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla or nutmeg (pinch)
    dash of salt
    1 c. milk
    butter or margarine
Preparation
    Crumble up biscuits.
    Add all other ingredients except egg. Add the egg after sugar to taste.
    Pour into a greased pan.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until a knife doesn't adhere.
