Batter Dipped Hot Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    12 wieners
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Sift together the meal, flour and salt.
    Add milk, egg and oil and beat until smooth.
    Dip wieners in batter, holding them with kitchen fork or tongs.
    Drain off excess.
    Fry in hot oil in skillet (375\u00b0) for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Drain on absorbent paper. Insert skewers and serve with mustard sauce made by mixing the last 3 ingredients together.
