Bubbly Bessie'S Passover Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    brisket
    2 onions
    3 garlic cloves
    1 lb. mushrooms
    2 bay leaves
    1 small jar apricot preserves
    1 envelope onion soup mix
Preparation
    In a deep roasting pan (layered with aluminum foil to keep juices in) place brisket.
    Slice 2 good sized onions, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 pound mushrooms and 2 bay leaves.
    Cover brisket with a small jar of kosher apricot preserves and sprinkle with onion soup mix.
    Add 1 1/2 cups ginger ale or selzer and cook at 350\u00b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
