Sweet-Sour Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sausage, rolled in balls
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained, reserving 1/2 c. liquid
1/6 c. packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 green pepper
Preparation

Brown meatballs; drain.
Combine reserved pineapple liquid, lemon juice, sugar, soy sauce and ginger.
In a small cup, stir 1 teaspoon of mixture into cornstarch; set aside.
Add remaining mixture to skillet.
Cover, simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
Add pineapple and green pepper; heat.
Gradually stir in cornstarch mixture.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Serve over cooked rice.
