Double-Quick Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water.
Measure flour.
Stir sugar and half of flour and salt into yeast.
Beat until smooth.
Add egg and shortening.
Beat in rest of flour until smooth.
Cover with cloth.
Let rise until double in size, about 30 minutes.
