Zesty Grilled Bread - cooking recipe

1 (16 oz.) loaf French or Italian bread
3/4 c. (3 oz.) lite Jarlsberg cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped green onions
1 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
2 tsp. poppy seed
1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
2 Tbsp. olive oil
Preparation

Slice bread at 1-inch intervals, cutting to, but not through, bottom crust. Using spatulas, place on a large piece of heavy-duty foil.
In mixing bowl, combine cheese, onion, mustard and poppy seed.
Stir in olives and oil and blend well.
Spread mixture evenly on every other bread slice. Wrap loaf loosely in foil. Place on grill rack over medium coals, 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through and cheese begins to melt. Makes 18 to 20 slices.
