Nanie'S Apple Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    6 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    8 slices bread, lightly toasted
    1 stick butter
    2 apples, sliced and peeled
    raisins
    cinnamon
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix vanilla, sugars, eggs and milk in pan and heat on top of stove until just hot.
    Add 1/4 stick of butter and continue heating until butter melts.
    Arrange toasted bread in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Pour liquid over toasted bread. Place apple slices and raisins over bread.
    Dot with pieces of butter. Sprinkle with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 65 minutes.
