Leek And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 leeks (white part only)
    2 medium onions, sliced
    10 oz. potatoes, diced
    6 c. chicken stock
    1 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Heat butter in saucepan over medium heat.
    Add the leeks and onions and cook until tender, but not colored.
    Add the potatoes and stock and season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce the heat.
    Cover and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 20 to 30 minutes.
