Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O cherry gelatin or 1 (6 oz.) box
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. sugar
    nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
    Mix cherry gelatin in boiling water.
    Mix in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Add crushed pineapple and cherry pie filling; stir well. Chill until firm.
