Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/2 c. hot water
    pinch of salt
    2 egg whites, well beaten
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix and boil sugar, syrup, hot water and salt. Cook until syrup reaches hard ball stage on candy thermometer. Pour slowly into egg whites while beating. Add pecans. Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
