Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
1/2 c. melted shortening
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients.
Sift together next 4 ingredients.
Mix all these together and add melted shortening. Pour 1/2 to 3/4 full into muffin tins.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until done.
