Russian Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 boiled potatoes
    1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots
    2 cucumbers
    2 apples
    2 hard-boiled eggs
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. dill weed, minced and preferably fresh
Preparation
    Cook frozen peas and carrots according to directions.
    Dice potatoes, cucumbers, apples and chop up the hard-boiled eggs. Sprinkle with at least one tablespoon of salt and a pinch of pepper.
    Blend sour cream and mayonnaise and add to mixture. Serve chilled, sprinkled with dill.
    Leftover chicken or ham can be added for a well-balanced one-dish meal.
