White Gravy For Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion
    2 c. sweet whipping cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Place cut up onion in a little hot oil and saute.
    Add cream, salt and pepper.
    Reduce heat to its lowest setting, never boiling.
    Heat it for 1 hour and pour over dumplings, noodles or potatoes.
