Easy Penuche Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/4 c. milk
    1 3/4 to 2 c. sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add brown sugar.
    Boil over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Stir in milk.
    Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until thick enough to spread.
    If icing gets stiff, add a little hot water.
