Shrimp Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. medium shrimp, cooked
    2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. half and half
    1/2 to 1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
    1 Tbsp. or more parsley (fresh)
    salt and pepper to taste
    chopped green onion (including tops)
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. linguine
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic until tender in melted butter.
    Add oregano, parsley, cheese and shrimp; heat until hot, but not boiling.
    Serve over cooked pasta.
