Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine, melted
    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 stick margarine, softened
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 bananas, sliced
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix melted margarine and cracker crumbs.
    Press into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Cream the cheese, softened margarine, sugar and vanilla.
    Blend these ingredients well and smooth on top of graham cracker mixture.
    Place bananas next, then pineapple. Spread whipped topping and sprinkle with a few chopped nuts.
    Top with long stemmed cherries.
    Chill well.
    Serves 12 to 15.
