Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squash, sliced
    1 small onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 can chicken soup (undiluted)
    1 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. pimento, chopped (optional)
    1/2 pkg. seasoned stuffing mix
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in small amount of water; drain.
    Season with salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon butter.
    Stir in soup, sour cream and pimento.
    Combine 1/2 cup butter and stuffing mix, stirring until well blended.
    Combine half of stuffing mixture and all of squash mixture.
    Put into a 2-quart buttered casserole. Put remaining stuffing mix on top and bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
