Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 eggs
    1 fifth whiskey
    1 qt. cream
    1 lb. sugar or less
    1 c. rum
    2 qt. rich milk
Preparation
    Beat the egg yolks, adding the sugar slowly.
    Pour in the whiskey very gradually, then add rum.
    Stir in the milk, then cream.
    Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
