Date Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. pitted dates
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1/2 c. walnuts
    coconut, shredded
Preparation
    Cook first 5 ingredients on low heat for 10 minutes.
    Pour over Rice Krispies and walnuts.
    Cool.
    Roll into 1-inch balls and roll in coconut.
