Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. pineapple juice
1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
pineapple slices and cherries
Preparation

Melt butter and brown sugar on low; heat in cake pan or skillet.
Place pineapple slices and cherries in bottom of pan. Combine dry ingredients alternately with pineapple juice until well blended and pour over pineapple slices.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Makes 9 or 10-inch cake.
