Danish Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium cucumbers
salt
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

With sharp knife, cut cucumbers into paper-thin slices. In large bowl, mix slices with 2 teaspoons salt. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour. Drain liquid from cucumbers. Stir in vinegar, sugar, chopped dill, pepper and 1 teaspoon salt until thoroughly mixed. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate salad at least 3 hours before serving.
