Crusty Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
3 c. sugar
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. shortening
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
6 eggs
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening.
Gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
Add cream cheese and beat until light and fluffy.
Add flour and eggs alternately, beginning and ending with flour.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 75 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes in pan.
Remove from pan to wire rack.
Serve with Berried Treasure.
