Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2/3 c. seedless raisins
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. butter, melted
6 eggs
1 can fruit cocktail, drained
12 slices stale French bread
2 large cans evaporated milk
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, mix together milk, water, vanilla and sugar.
Add broken pieces of bread.
Let stand 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Butter 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
To bread mixture, add raisins, fruit cocktail, coconut and melted butter.
Beat eggs by hand and add to bread mixture.
Blend well by hand.
Pour into baking dish.
Bake 1 hour.
Spoon into tall sherbet glasses to serve.
Makes 10 to 12 large servings.
