Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 cans cut green beans
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1 pt. whipping cream
1 large jar Cheez Whiz
1 large can mushrooms
2 cans water chestnuts
2 dashes hot sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. sliced almonds
Preparation

Saute onion and mushrooms in butter in a large skillet.
Add flour and cook until smooth.
Add milk, cream cheese, hot sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer until mixed thoroughly.
Cook green beans for 15 to 20 minutes and drain.
Add water chestnuts and almonds.
Pour sauce over green beans in a casserole or crock-pot.
Cook until hot.
