Shrimp Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 medium white onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1 lb. clean deveined shrimp
    1/2 c. green onions, cut up
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Preparation
    On medium heat, place oil and flour in black skillet and stir until brown.
    Add onion, celery and bell pepper.
    Reduce heat. Simmer 15 minutes.
    Add shrimp, parsley, green onions, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Add cooked rice and mix well.
    Place lid on pot until ready to serve.
    Serves about 6.
