Microwave Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes, cut up, liquid reserved
    1 c. quick cooking rice
    1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground pepper
Preparation
    Place beef in 3-quart microproof casserole; break up with fork.
    Stir in onion.
    Cook on High 7 minutes; drain.
    Add remaining ingredients; stir.
    Cover and cook on High 12 to 14 minutes, or until rice is tender, stirring once during cooking time.
