Icebox Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    6 onions and 6 cucumbers
Preparation
    Bring the first 6 ingredients to a boil and let cool.
    Pack jar with thin sliced onions and cucumbers tightly.
    Pour liquid over and keep in refrigerator.
    Let stand 1 month and enjoy.
