Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. wild strawberry jello
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 1/2 c. fresh strawberries
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Wash and stem strawberries.
    Mix water, sugar and cornstarch together; bring to a boil and cook until thick and clear.
    Add jello; stir until jello is dissolved.
    Remove from heat.
    Add strawberries; stir to coat all the berries.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Chill until set.
    Serve with whipped cream.
