Favorite Potato Salad(4 To 5 Servings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sliced cooked potatoes (preferably red, about 3 or 4, depending on size)
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 to 2/3 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
Preparation

Cook potatoes just until tender.
As soon as you can handle them, peel and slice potatoes.
Immediately sprinkle with salt, sugar, celery seed and vinegar.
Toss until all potatoes are seasoned.
Add onion and 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
Toss until well distributed.
With rubber spatula, fold in mayonnaise, celery and sliced eggs until well mixed.
Add remainder or mayonnaise, if necessary.
Chill.
