Beef Wellington - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole fillet of beef tenderloin
    1 (4 oz.) can liver pate
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 (11 oz.) pkg. pie crust mix
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Tie ends of fillet into place with cord.
    Melt 1/4 cup butter and brush on beef.
    Roast at 400\u00b0 for about 10 minutes (rare), 15 minutes (medium) and 20 (well).
    Remove and cool on rack.
