Krusciki(Polish Crullers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 egg yolks
    1/4 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. sweet cream or sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks in bowl until thick; add salt and vanilla. Continue beating.
    Add cream and flour alternately until well blended.
    Turn on floured board.
    Cover, allow to rest for 10 minutes.
    Knead until dough begins to blister (about 5 minutes). Roll out thin and cut into strips 1-inch wide and 4 inches long. Cut a gash in the center and twist ends through.
    Fry in deep fat at 375\u00b0 until lightly browned.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
    When cool, dust with powdered sugar.
