"Spaghetti Della Casa"(Specialty From Da Vittorio'S, Nutsford, England) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. spaghetti
    1 c. unsmoked ham or bacon, chopped in 1-inch pieces
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. cooked green peas
    1 c. spaghetti sauce or tomato puree
    1 c. light cream
    freshly ground pepper
    freshly grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    Add ham or bacon; saute quickly.
    Add sauce or puree; stir in cream.
    Allow sauce to cook down and thicken.
    Add more sauce and/or cream, if desired (sauce should be orange-pink).
    Toss in cooked peas.
