Cheese And Sausage Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bulk sausage
    1/4 c. green onions, sliced
    4 c. bread cubes (3/4-inch)
    1 c. milk
    3/4 c. sliced mushrooms
    1/2 lb. Velveeta, cubed
    4 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Brown sausage; drain.
    Add vegetables and continue cooking for 5 minutes; drain.
    Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
    Stir together sausage mixture, Velveeta and bread cubes; place in greased 8-inch square baking dish.
    Beat milk and eggs together and pour over sausage mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate for several hours.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Remove cover and bake 50 to 55 minutes or until golden brown.
    Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
