Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 baking apples in bite size pieces
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    cinnamon to taste
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sifted flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Place apples in 2 to 3-quart baking dish.
    Mix 2/3 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons flour together, and sprinkle over apples. Sprinkle cinnamon over top.
    Dot with butter.
    Sift remaining dry ingredients together.
    Add shortening, milk and egg.
    Blend thoroughly with a fork.
    Drop over fruit with a spoon.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Delicious warm with cream or ice cream.
