Hot Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. diced chicken (don't salt chicken while cooking)
    2 c. celery, chopped fine
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
    18 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1 can cream of celery soup
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can French fried onion rings
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except onion rings. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish (greased) at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Put French fried onion rings on top and cook about 5 more minutes.
    You may put a little grated cheese on top too.
