Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
14 oz. (48 to 52) caramels
1 stick margarine
1 can Eagle Brand milk
6 oz. chocolate chips
6 oz. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Make cake mix according to package directions. Pour half batter in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Melt caramels and margarine.
Blend well.
Add Eagle Brand milk.
Mix until smooth.
Pour over baked cake.
Add remaining batter.
Top with chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Check for doneness (not gooey).
