Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk or 2 c. evaporated milk and 2 c. water
    2 c. stale bread crumbs or cubes
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 to 4 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Grease 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Heat milk.
    Stir in bread crumbs.
    Beat eggs in separate dish; stir in sugar and salt slowly.
    Stir in milk mixture, then nutmeg, vanilla and butter. Bake 75 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
