Eggplant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 eggplant (do not peel)
    a little flour, salt and pepper
    1/2 lb. grated cheese
    1 large can tomatoes or puree
    2 eggs
    1 large onion, chopped
Preparation
    Slice eggplant in 1/4-inch slices.
    Put them in flour and then into beaten eggs.
    Brown in skillet on both sides; set aside. Combine onion and tomatoes.
    Add a little sugar or Equal, salt and pepper.
    Cook 15 minutes.
    In baking dish, first put some sauce, then layer of eggplant, then some grated cheese; alternate layers. Put Parmesan cheese on top.
