Peach Custard Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1 qt. peaches
    1/2 c. peach syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg
    1 c. canned milk
Preparation
    Put into a 1 1/2-quart bowl the flour, salt and butter.
    Mix with a pastry blender until mixture looks like coarse meal.
    Press mixture firmly into an 8-inch square pan over bottom and halfway up sides.
    Drain peaches, saving syrup and arrange them on crust in pan.
    Blend sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over peaches.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Mix peach juice, 1 slightly beaten egg and canned milk and pour over peaches.
    Bake 30 minutes more or until custard is firm, except center.
