Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    4 medium chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. ketchup
Preparation
    Saute, until brown, the hamburger and onion.
    Drain any remaining grease.
    Stir
    in
    and bring to a boil the remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer 25 minutes.\tStir often.
