Snicle Doodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (part butter)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix
    thoroughly
    shortening,\tsugar
    and
    eggs.
    Sift together and
    stir\tin
    flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.\tThen roll balls in mixture
    of
    2
    tablespoons
    sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Place 2
    inches
    apart
    on ungreased cookie sheet.\tBake until light brown
    but still soft.
    Temperature:\t400\u00b0, bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    Yields 5 dozen 2 inch cookies.
