Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. beef, sliced thin (flank steak)
2 green peppers, sliced
2 Tbsp. Crisco, oil
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 large onion, sliced
Preparation

Brown onion, peppers and tomato.
Put aside.
Brown meat; stir in 2 cups water and soup mix; simmer 30 minutes.
Add onion, peppers and tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes; thicken with cornstarch.
Serve over rice.
