Quick Lunch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. soft butter
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 can fruit cocktail (do not drain)
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine all ingredients, except morsels and nuts.
    Blend well at lowest speed of mixer.
    Beat 2 minutes and pour into pan. Sprinkle with morsels and nuts.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
