Danish Cabbage Soup(Hvidkaalsuppe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. meat (lamb, salt pork or ham bone)
2 onions or 4 leeks
1 head cabbage
4 carrots, diced
4 potatoes, diced
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cover meat with cold water and boil until tender, 3 to 4 hours.
Cut up cabbage and onions and cook separately until tender.
Cook carrots and potatoes together.
Add all the cooked vegetables to the broth just before serving.
Serve meat on a side dish dipped in prepared mustard and a slice of bread.
