Evelyn Moore'S Pear Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. orange jello
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 small carton Cool Whip
    1 (No. 2) can pears
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water.
    Add softened cream cheese and mayonnaise to hot mixture and cool.
    Drain pears and mash.
    Add mashed pears and crushed pineapple (not drained) to cool jello.
    When this begins to congeal, fold in a small carton of Cool Whip.
